The dark island

My boat finally settled on a shore of an island, it was all misty and the dolls were thrown aside of the trash, looked like it's no longer a resort to relax at, I sensed a melancholic atmosphere and I had no clue how can I get back or where should I head.

I stepped forward, and found a nearby house, a wooden vintage house with a rusty gate, despite that, it was dwelled by an old couple, who opened the door for me, acting gentle, presenting food and drinks, I rejected and only asked for one night to spend until I find a way out of here, they accepted my proposal and showed me the room I would sleep at.

It was quite dreary but I had no other choice, I would move further than my pride and stop despising everything around, at least for one night.

I noticed book shelves all hung in a sequence and I wanted to grab one to entertain me but strangely a portal opened, I walked downstairs and discovered a basement, my curiosity dragged me deeper and deeper until I witnessed satanic rituals previously performed.

What was haunting my mind, meanwhile, is to escape as soon as possible, but the door was unfortunately locked.

"Sometimes your mind misleads you, and sometimes you think a lie is a truth, don't ever believe a single one who acts fine towards you, smile back, but stop trusting, or you end up a failure."
